You are cordially invited to participate in this research study. I would be grateful if you would take part in completing my short questionnaire to help with my BSc in building surveying. I anticipate it should take you no more than 10-15mins to complete. Before you decide, it is important that you understand why the study is being conducted and what it will involve. Please read the following information carefully and, if desired, discuss it with others. Please let me know if anything is unclear or if you require further information.
The following questionnaire has been designed to gather information from your wealth of experience and therefore there is no right or wrong answer. The primary aim of the research to consider how we can create safer buildings, by reducing the risk of fire and the consequences of fire in buildings under 18 metres high. This will involve evaluating the effectiveness of the current Building Safety Act for buildings under 18 metres, examining the impact on the stakeholders of these buildings and will lead to providing recommendations to improve the Building Safety Act for buildings under 18 metres.
